What is your professional background and what drew you to working for AB Scientific
I have been in commercial roles within healthcare for over 20 years. I started my career as a GP Rep / Hospital Specialist in the pharmaceutical industry, before moving in to specialist pharma sales within Named Patient Programmes. I then moved in to Laboratory Diagnostics, setting up an International Referral Business with the Nichols Institute in the US, spearheading new business units in NHS pathology groups, and expanding in
to managed service contracts before moving to AB Scientific. I was drawn to AB Scientific because of the management, the innovative products, and the culture / ethos of the company.
How would your colleagues describe you?
Fun, personable, hardworking, organised, drive, and approachable.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
My main hobbies/interests outside of work are my children, Faye and Mark; going for walks with our dog, Dave; keeping fit; and working a 12-step recovery program.
How has AB Scientific allowed you to grow and develop professionally and personally and what do you like best about your role here?
AB Scientific has allowed me to grow and develop thanks to their trust and confidence in my abilities, their honest and open working culture, and their care and understanding of my life outside of work. What I like most about my role is the people; seeing them grow personally and professionally; our customers, and the fun that we have as a team.
