What is your professional background and what drew you to working for AB Scientific?
When my children were young, I decided to pursue a degree in Respiratory Physiology. Following that, I worked as a Physiologist until my recent transition to AB Scientific last year. With my kids now older, I felt the time was right to explore new opportunities, and I had always been interested in a career in Sales. AB Scientific caught my attention due to its tightly knit team and extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical industry.
As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
As a child, I wanted to work in construction. My father is a Plasterer, and we grew up helping.
How would your colleagues describe you? (You can guess or ask them!)
If I were to guess how my colleagues would describe me, I believe they would say that I am very direct, customer-focused, have a good sense of humour.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I have a few hobbies and interests. I absolutely love walks with my dog, Able. I am a big fan of the cinema and have a cinema membership so I like to catch a new film at least once a week. I enjoy working out on my beloved Peloton and I try to eat out and travel with my kids as much as possible.
How has AB Scientific allowed you to grow and develop professionally and personally, and what do you like best about your role here?
Joining AB Scientific as a Territory Manager has been an exciting and fulfilling journey for me both professionally and personally. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, making my work incredibly dynamic. One of the best aspects of working at AB Scientific is the incredible support I receive from my colleagues. We have a brilliant team, and their guidance has greatly contributed to my growth and development in this new industry. I love the team-building activities we engage in, even if I’m not the most skilled in games like darts or electric shuffle (bottom of the leaderboard every time). AB Scientific has created an environment that fosters growth, and I find myself learning something new every day, which is so rewarding.
