The platform, reduces hands-on time from 9 hours to less than 45 minutes, cuts down the number of human touch points from 100 manual steps to 1, and decreases the time to results from 4-10 days down to 24-27 hours.
Public Health Wales, the Pathogen Genomics Department (PenGU) which houses the Genomics Partnership of Wales Partners are validating the platform in August & September.
They are hosting sessions to do a presentation and live demos of the instrument the first week of September.
