The Process2Clean® cleaning products have been engineered to effectively remove a multitude of pharmaceutical & biotech product residues. All products are formulated under the highest quality standards in VAI’s GMP manufacturing facility and are available in both sterile (filtered at 0.2 microns and aseptically filtered) & non-sterile versions. A complete lot documentation package for traceability is provided with each product. The sterile versions are ultra clean and assure that less contamination is introduced to the system.
The appropriate use of process cleaning detergents warrant two concerns. The first concern relates to the ability of the specific detergent to remove existent product residues and the second concern is the ability to rinse free the product residue, any contamination that has entered, as well as the process detergent itself to assure that such surfaces are clean prior to the manufacturing of a subsequent product.
A comprehensive support package specific to each individual product is available to assist with your validation plans. All the Process2Clean products are available in a range of container sizes and in both sterile and non-sterile versions.
Process2Clean® 1 is a high performance concentrated liquid alkaline cleaning agent designed specifically for automation cleaning (CIP) requirements in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic, medical device, food and beverage industries. Process2Clean 1 is formulated with potassium hydroxide, a unique dual surfactant system, and other critically essential cleaning ingredients.
Physical Properties
The wide array of components provides a stabilized formula that is capable of cleaning a multitude of product and non-product contact surfaces. The formulation is VAI’s most effective broad spectrum cleaning agent that is capable of removing a wide array of residues. This product is extremely effective in removing proteins, excipients, fine chemicals, silicones, oils, petrolatum, polymers and most all types of organics. Process2Clean 1 is a low foaming cleaning agent (at all temperatures) and has enhanced cleaning with the ability to rinse freely from systems. The phosphate free agent can be used in both CIP and COP applications. Use dilutions range from .5% to 5% dependent upon the soil load and application. Each product is shipped with a complete lot documentation package for traceability.
Process2Clean® 2 is a high performance liquid acid cleaning agent designed specifically for automation cleaning (CIP) requirements in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic, medical device, food and beverage industries. Process2Clean 2 is formulated with phosphoric acid, surfactants and other critically essential cleaning ingredients.
Physical Properties
The product ingredients provide a stabilized formula that is capable of cleaning a multitude of product and non-product contact surfaces. The formulation is VAI’s most effective acid cleaning agent that is capable of removing a wide array of residues. This product is extremely effective in removing residues that include inorganic salts, scales, particulate carbon, proteins, excipients, fine chemicals, silicones, oils, petrolatum, polymers and most all types of organics. This product is safe for use on stainless steel, glass and a wide variety of plastics at recommended use dilutions. Routine use of this product reduces corrosion, pitting, and rusting. Process2Clean 3 is formulated with glycolic acid, surfactants and other critically essential cleaning ingredients.

This environmentally friendly product is extremely effective in removing residues that include a wide array of inorganic salts, scales, particulate carbon, urine scales, proteins, excipients, fine chemicals, silicones, oils, petrolatum, polymers and most all types of organics.
