Who are we looking for?
AB Scientific are looking for an enthusiastic individual to increase sales and customer awareness of our Microbiology & Contamination Control products in Pharmaceutical companies across the sales territory. The ideal candidate will ideally have some experience of selling into or have worked in the industry.
The products are designed for use in cleanrooms and include chemical disinfectants, wipes, cleanroom consumables and microbiology media. In addition to our consumable range we also supply equipment such as pass through boxes and hydrogen peroxide gassing systems.
The candidate should be self-motivated, energetic and looking to join a young, dynamic company who are in an early growth phase. You should share a passion for success, a commitment to excellent customer service and be determined to achieve your personal and our company goals.
The candidate must be willing to travel extensively within their territory and occasionally abroad to manufacturer training events and trade shows.
Evaluate prospects, manage and develop the sales pipeline and increase sales revenues within the territory.
Possess in-depth product knowledge and be competent at demonstrating products (training provided).
Independently arrange and conduct sales meetings and presentations.
Manage current customers within the territory.
Attend trade shows.
Meet or exceed sales forecast.
Degree or equivalent in Microbiology or relevant experience within the Pharmaceutical manufacturing area.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Full driving license.
Excellent IT skills.
